What do kids do at AWANA?
The weekly Awana Club is made up of three parts: game time, handbook time, and council time.
-
The game time involves children in exciting games designed to build leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship. Game time does not focus on competition.
-
Handbook time involves individual contact between leader and learner. Each learner is encouraged and assisted with memorization and understanding of current and previous week's lessons.
-
Council time is when the children meet as a group for singing, Bible story, recognition of achievement, and presentation of awards.
